Lair of the Minotaur’s third full length on Southern Lord Records, WAR METAL BATTLE MASTER is a concept album about solving conflicts with a big fucking axe! Recorded at Volume Studios in Chicago by Sanford Parker (Pelican, Unearthly Trance, Venomous Concept) and mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer member).

The songs are a mix of the thrashing aggression & mega-riffage of the previous album: The Ultimate Destroyer and the unrelenting beatings & Sabbath chugs of Carnage, mixed with a new emotionless ferocity reserved for an executioner.

In standard Southern Lord fashion the packaging of this album is epic...featuring illustrations by Jeremy Mohler and layout by Seldon Hunt. CD contains a 20 page booklet with graphic illustrations for each song.
